Folksy Favourites - Part 1

This post is all about favourite items. I asked on Folksy for people to tell me what their favourite item currently in their shop was and this is the result so far. . .

The first item is from 'JimJam', a Lovely fabric teacup card.

Sellers comment 'i love it because i love tea!, but inparticular i adore the fabric, its so summery and has a “happy” feel to it :)'

The next item is a stunning pair of Mother of Pearl earrings by 'BlueForestJewellery'.

Sellers comment 'I like these because they make me think of a beach :-)'

Next up is a wonderful pink flower ring by Lil-Piranha-Fish

Sellers comment ' I love it because I really took my time with the design and was thrilled with the results!'

Moving home? Then you need one of these! Lovely new home cards made by 'Ello Design'

Sellers comment 'my favourite is this card since the middle house is based on my own :) '

The next favourite item is this absolutely wonderful trinket box from 'Miss Bohemia'

Sellers comment 'I usually make jewellery and this is the first piece I created using paints and different types of media. I wasn’t sure how it would turn out as I was experimenting but I really like the end result :-)'

Some words of advice from 'Crafty mushroom' next

Sellers comment ' This card is my favourite because (blowing my own trumpet because I drew it myself!) the chicken is rather cute!'

That is all for now, due to there being so ,many responses on Folksy & due to a teething baby I didn't get chance to finish off to put them all in one blog, So i thought I'd do it in parts, part 2 will be published tomorrow.

No pictures for now...

It appears I have lost my camera, so unfortunately cannot take any new photos. But I have got some I don't think I've put up yet.

Talk about M.I.A

So finally I have recovered my log in information for my blog and can now update (once in a while). I'll start by saying I am absolutely gutted that my new beads stock and absolutely amazing watch face won't get here in time for my fair on saturday thanks to paypal flagging my payment, without reason! Also now that most of my items on Folksy have been delisted I'm wondering whether or not I should even bother relisting, the problem is it's the website on all of my business cards and I can't get new ones in time for Saturday either. I suppose I will relist some things, when I have time to create descriptions and take much better pictures.

I sold a couple things since my last post, a pair of earrings and watch to my mum and a couple of bracelets to a friend. So I'm quite glad, though hoping to sell a lot of Saturday, need to sell quite a few things to cover the table cost so if anyone is in Sheffield Saturday the 18th June, pop over to Heeley City Farm.

I was going to put up a few pictures of things made recently, but I think I will do it tomorrow now, I'd like to get to bed if I can. Far too hot!

December Elves top 5

December Elves is a listings club on Folksy where you are challenged to list one item per day, or most days. I've been absent from it for a few days so I have some catching up to do. I have looked through and picked some of my favourites from the past 3 days.

Those are my favourite 5 items I've seen listed these past 3 days. Follow the links below to view the item and full details.

Check me out on twitter too @HandmadeDynasty

Soon to be listed items.

Snow has started, again! So I think I'll stay in today, then again I do need new shoes and if it's going to come down like last time, I'll need them soon. I'm getting a cold too, which sucks.

I spent a lot of time a couple nights ago taking pictures of jewellery I have to list, now I just can't be bothered to list them cause I'm so tired, so I thought I'd post some of the pictures on here.

Earrings with light blue square beads. I actually love these, thinking of making myself a pair.
Rainbow organza ribbon and an amazing blue heart glass pendant. There will be close up pictures of the heart when I list on Folksy. It's definitely my favourite heart that I have.

Close up of another glass heart pendant, the picture is a bit blurry cause I kinda suck at taking pictures :/ but it's very pretty and looks great with it's chain.

Those beads were expensive! Bought loads, then didn't know what to do with them and I didn't want to buy a pandora bracelet for them to go on...So I improvised. Bright pink knotted ribbon bracelet :D

These are so pretty, love 'em. Glass butterflys and rose quartz round beads.

Well I bought that as a murano pendant, but I think it's probably just murano style. Quite like it though.

More pandora beads, another rainbow ribbon and a great glass heart.

Birdhouse :D I didn't put the charm together, I bought it from eBay, but after I noticed I could have bought the bits seperately and made my own :( Ah well. It's a glass birdyhome and a silver plated bird. With blue swarovski beads.

Lampwork glass rose beads, purple glass square beads. Cute right?

They will eventually be up for sale in my shop www.folksy.com/shops/HopHopHop

Or if you want them now, just ask and I'll tell prices :)
